I recently went down to the US with my family for a (mini) vacation. When we were shopping Macklamore's Same Love song came on and it caught me so off guard. It resonates so much with me so I had to wander off because I though if my parents saw my reaction they would think it was so weird. I was shocked when I heard it and I had the urge to cheer as I heard the staff yelling across the store about how "this song has such a good message!" I felt so happy and anxious at the same time that I was almost quaking. I think my mom thought I felt sick :lol: Has anyone else ever had a similar reaction? To this song or another?
When I first heard this song I cried a little, and since I'm not a very emotional person it caught a few people (including me) off guard so...
this song helps me keep the hope that i will have the chance to love and not face that many difficulties :') that other people try to impose on us, it also makes you think that we are not LGBT but HUMAN
