I recently went down to the US with my family for a (mini) vacation. When we were shopping Macklamore's Same Love song came on and it caught me so off guard. It resonates so much with me so I had to wander off because I though if my parents saw my reaction they would think it was so weird.

I was shocked when I heard it and I had the urge to cheer as I heard the staff yelling across the store about how "this song has such a good message!" I felt so happy and anxious at the same time that I was almost quaking. I think my mom thought I felt sick

Has anyone else ever had a similar reaction? To this song or another?
