I enjoyed The Conjuring, The Evil Dead, Chernobyl Diaries, Insidious, Sinister, The Human Centipede 2 although it's not scary just amusing. Really I've been disappointed though, none of them except Insidious actually scared me.

The Ring (original Japanese version ONLY! Yes it has subtitles, but it's the best!)

    That movies still frightens me.

The Silence of the Lambs was by far the most disturbing thing I've ever seen.

Psycho (Alfred Hitchcock) is a work of genius. by far the greatest horror film of all time. The Exorcist, Friday The 13th, The Ring, and Rosemary's Baby are all really good too.

If you can handle foreign, "The Orphanage" ("El Orfanato") is one of the best and definitely the most depressing horror I've seen. And its produced in part by Guillermo del Toro (Hellboy 2, Mama, Pan's Labyrinth, &c) so quality is almost guaranteed!

Not much into horror (ie run from the monster) but
Texas Chainsaw Masacer was good 2 was ok
    Hellraiser 1-3
    Wismaster 1&2
    13 ghosts was great
Chuckie, Jason, & Freddie just make me laugh
I'm more into thriller/suspense things like:
Saw 1-3 really went downhill after that.
Steven King's Storm of the Century (like 8hrs long)
Most people like 'Rose Red' but I found the pacing a bit slow
