I'm drafting a proposal for a game show event for my schools club (current affairs group$ and I need some inspiration
I used to be a game show fiend. Probably my favorite was the various permutations of Pyramid, although I'm old-school enough that I still think the ones hosted by Dick Clark were the best. Check it out: inflation at work! Lex ---------- Post added 9th Sep 2013 at 11:55 AM ---------- I also loved Match Game. Charles Nelson Reilly was one of the regular panelists, and he was one of those witty obviously-gay-but-let's-not-get-into-it guys. Lex
I like Family Feud and Jeopardy, but I probably like Family Feud a little more, especially when Steve Harvey is hosting. I do like Jeopardy, but sometimes it makes me feel dumb....and I only really ever not feel bad about myself when one of the question categories deals with classical music or British literature, which isn't very often.... >_>
I like the Newlywed Game and Baggage. I've also been watching The Chase recently. I love Mark Labbett's condescending smugness. It's really funny to watch.
This thread has made me realise how we don't get US game shows like... ever. Big Brother USA is my favourite. Shoot me now.
Oh, I remember this! They broadcasted it on Nickolodeon over here. So cool. Is it still on (Nickolodeon is no longer available in Romania).
HOLY SHIT O_O I remember watching that show as a young kid :O It also was on Nick Gas if I'm correct. ---------- Post added 9th Sep 2013 at 04:26 PM ---------- That show died years ago unfortunately.
I used to be a sucker for Russian Roulette, WinTuition, Greed and The Weakest Link. Of the four, The Weakest Link is my fav.
The Weakest Link Who wants to be a millionaire (Regis Version) The Price is right (Bob Barker) I like Family Feud(Ray Combs) i feel Steve Harvey show is too sexual and playing the same 5 second theme song drives me insane.
