Anyone know of any good trans* themed music? Or just music that can be interpreted as being about trans* people.
Funnily enough I was recently putting together a playlist for a friend of trans themed songs, when I get in from work in a few hours I'll try to get round to posting what I found.

Right, I hope you're ready for this, this may be more than you bargained for. There's probably a couple of hours of music here, and I hope you like rock music, because that's what pretty much all of these songs are, hopefully you'll like some of them. It largely reflects my own taste, apart from a few I found when googling specifically for trans* songs. I didn't include many songs that only mention trans* stuff fleetingly, otherwise you could add songs like The Beatles' 'Get back' and 'Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da' and innumerable others too. Some of these you'll undoubtedly know, but some are pretty obscure. They start out in rough chronological order but I abandoned that after a while. Surprised I couldn't think of more glam, punk, goth and synthpop songs to include, and disappointingly (although unsurpringly) nothing from the 50s. Anyway, without any further ado, shall we begin? What about Against Me!'s Transgender Dysphoria Blues album? Frontwoman Laura Jane Grace came out a while back as transgender so a lot of the songs are inspired by her experiences and dysphoria.
