lol I've seen it. The first parts were nice

but halfway though it, I got so scared and goosebumps went up my spine because I am totally terrified of bugs, omfg THE SPIDERS, NOT THE SPIDERS O.O!!

This I will say though, the Ending is pure irony, sucks to be him. XD

I got so pissed at the ending I started screaming at the TV like it would make a difference! If he had only waited just another minute! ugh the ending ruined the movie for me.

I liked it but it was sad. I don't cry often, but that movie made me cry several times.

I thought the ending was brilliant--SO unHollywood. I was shocked they ended it that way and I can see why Stephen King said he wished he had thought of that ending for the original short story on which the movie is based.

I mean I didn't enjoy the fact that the protagonists pretty much all bought it but it is a totally realistic ending given the situation; much more likely the way the story would go "in the real world."

I think sometimes it's good for us to see realistic endings to stories rather than uber-predictable: "and they all lived happily ever after." The only time I don't hew to this belief is with respect to gay love stories, where I have seen/experienced way too much of the frustration/disappointment of real life and believe that people should make more of an effort to portray happy endings. But for mainstream movies? I don't mind the occasional "real life" ending. The Visitor was like that and it was still an excellent film.
