    I really like fantasy books like Tolkien, Feist...
    The fact is that the protagonists are always straight...
    Is there any book that has a gay protagonist without that book being erotica and still has magic, elves, etc.
    I am open to suggestions.

    well there is the Black Magician series and the Traitor Spy trilogy both by Trudi Canavan.
    One of the main characters in both books are gay. His name his Dannyl. Also a lesbian relationship also forms in the Traitor Spy trilogy :slight_smile:
