    Hey there,

Need your opinions on that one.

So I have tons of 'puters, (yeah, now I'm in the process of selling one of them since it's unused) and also one notebook (given by cousin).

However, I have assignments to do, so I hate the idea of dragging the 3kg Sony VAIO to school. It's really heavy and there's no batteries, so I have to feed it on the power socket nearby!

What do you think, is it really good to go for me to purchase one?

the Eee PC is kinda nice. Some of my friends have it. Basically limited to school work and projects (MS word and the like) and for internet. Apart from that (like playing movies?), I don't think it'll be very good. Being small and light does have its drawbacks..

If I were you, I already have a laptop anyway, so I guess I'll just use that :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:
But if you really hate carrying that big lappy everywhere, then why not getting a eee pc instead. They're kinda cheap nowadays I think, and still every useful.

As long as all you wanted was a basic laptop and can handle having only a 7 inch screen, there should be no problem.

Oh my lord... that thing is tiny.

    -cherishes his 17-inch screen-

And there are lightweight laptops out there... I think my MacBook only weights 5lbs.

The MacBook Air is nice too, I think. Apple's equivalent for the EEE PC :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

I would break the MacBook Air. There's no doubt in my mind. I won't even touch the one in the stores.

After using a 22" screen, I would never be able to use an eepc. Played around with one the other day though.

Lol, just got my EEEPc just now, but haven't have the time to test it!

Maybe on friday, I'll be putting a WinXP into it! Too bad, its RAM is only like 512MB. Gotta grab a stick of 2GB RAM while I'm at it!
