Anyone watch the ABC News show? It's with John Quinones, where they test what people do is tough situations.

I've been watching a lot of episodes lately, and there's a lot of LGBT issues that they test. It really is so emotional watching them, there's SO many people that stick up for the people.

    Here's a couple clips if you're curious

    WWYD: Bride lesbian - YouTube

WWYD? - Don't Want To Be Gay? I Can Help Cure You! Be Straight Again!..Eat Me Father Fraud! - YouTube

    Gay Parents Bashed - YouTube

This show really makes me believe that people can truly be good.

I would do nothing. It is nice for people to support others but it is not my thing. XD

There have been a lot more LGBT themed episodes beyond those three, and I love that for the most part people seem to be overwhelmingly supportive.

My personal favorite is when they showed different people stealing a bike to see the reaction.

White male: mild reaction. Only a few stopped him.
Black male: Almost everyone stopped him.
Attractive white female: Nobody did anything. Some men actually helped her.

I love this show, especially the LGBT ones. Those hit home for me. And its amazing to see how people react to different people. People really seem to be more supportive than I thought

Racism pretty badly too, that bike scenario really dumbfounded me.

I know there's A LOT more LGBT ones, but like I said those were just a few clips. The ones that really stand out to me.

I've been really obsessed with the show lately.

So would you guys stand up and say something? I know I would, I would NEVER be able to just stand by idly. I would probably get really confrontational for some of the situations. I've always been the "weird" girl, mostly in high school, but I still had a lot of friends. I always stood up for the kids that got picked on. I just feel like if I won't do it, then who will? And if no one says anything that person could potentially be in a lot of trouble (mentally or physically).

Having been in some of these kinds of situations before I can safely say I'm the kind of person who steps in during these kinds of situations, even when I'd probably be better off keeping my mouth shut and butting out.
