God, I love kids. This video is like a little bit of hope for the future. :icon_bigg
The twins and the kid with glasses absolutely killed me. :roflmao:
I feel so sorry for that poor little kid that doesn't know why he's supposed to hate homosexuals, just that he's been told that. I really hope he learns how to think for himself as he gets older.

So cute! Makes me hopeful for the future  People do not give kids enough credit, they're not idiots, they know what's up. I just feel really sorry for the little boy who has obviously been fed such hatred at a young age :frowning2: hopefully he'll grow up and make up his own mind and have his own feelings about it.

    "there'll be tornadoes"

I'll copy and paste my reply from the other thread, because yes:

I don't think I even knew that being gay was a thing at the age of 10/11/12, and yet those kids half that age not only are aware of it but also of the issues surrounding it and common arguments made for/against gay marriage. It's cute but it's all regurgitated from their parents, teachers and other adults they respect, maybe excepting the very oldest of those. If the ones who weren't aware of it until the interview were shown a negative portrayal of it and asked negatively-leading questions, their reactions to it would be negative and that's the way homophobia can be instilled at a very early age. I don't believe that we as humans or children have a natural instinct to neither embrace nor loathe homosexuality.

Oh and if anyone ever proposes to me, could they please not accompany the proposal to a song like Ho Hey because I would probably be forced to reject you on the grounds of musical crime. x

That video made my day! Those kids were so adorable and insightful. You can see how a child can be affected by their surroundings but it's just amazing the ideas that they have formed on the topic of gay marriage and being gay.

How ironic that kids are smarter than many adults on this issue.

Samirah started out being kind of a bigot. Lucas was cringe worthy. It's clearly the fault of the parents why he's so brainwashed. I mean he's not even Caucasian. I don't get how non white people can be such homophobs. You were discriminated against for years and now you judge other people. SMH

Those kids are funny. "Justin Bieber got married to a man"

Kids don't have the prejudice adults do. They can depending on their environment, but they can also be taught to be tolerant and accepting.
