What a surprise. Another lesbian character on tv, and yet another lesbian character on a sci-fi show. Through history (in sci-fi) we've only had gays on Torchwood and we had the sexless, barely there, gay character on Warehouse 13. It's actually odd how few gays there are in sci-fi shows, considering sic-fi have so many gay fans. Oh well..

Guess the producers refuse to hurt the poor straight guys' feelings with portraying real gay (as in male) characters. We all know gay characters is a ratings killer, just look at all the cancellations of tv shows over the last few years. Lesbians on the other hand is an instant boner for the straighties, hence 30+ shows featuring overtly sexual lesbians, compared to the 7 shows currently featuring sexless gays that barely get to kiss.

Funny how so many gay men are into comics and sic-fi shows, yet these shows NEVER seem to add ANY gay (male) characters. Pathetic!
