Printer trouble

    I needed to print off my german coursework but my printer suddenly started printing off the pages half done or just in like dots... im suspecting maybe the ink cartridge has run out, what do you guys think?

    Seems like its running out, though the driver should inform you that it was empty.
    Try to run the program that cleans the printer.

    Agreed. Try replacing the cartridges... good luck because they're expensive (at least here)

    Looks like the cartridge to me. Hopefully you can get a refilled one from Cartridge World which will be cheaper.

    If you print a lot of text stuff and don't need colour, think about getting a basic mono laser printer such as the Brother HL2040. We use about ten of these at work, they are reliable and economical (especially with Cartridge World toner refills).

    You could give the cartridge a shake. I heard thats bad though. But we used to do it at school all the time. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

    could be something deeper than ink if the beginning of the page prints ok, then the next part shows dots, not matter what page its on..

    did it all work out? if not try reinstalling your printer drivers
