so there was that great post where we all list of favorite teams

    So my question is this

Of all the teams you love, which one winning a title would be the most exciting to you?

For a long time it was the Ducks winning the Stanley Cup...which they did

but I can't even imagine what I'd do if the US ever won the World Cup

That would be something I'd like to see

I've seen both the Packers and the Ducks win..and the Cubs...well that's never going to happen

    What about you?

I'd love to see England win the World Cup for a second time. [Failing that, Greece!]
Liverpool to get in, as well as win the Champions League again. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:
A league title for the first time in forever would be nice too. :3

Tom Brady and the Patriots winning another superbowl. Fluke Manning had no right winning.

Neither do the Cheatriots...sorry I had to

    lol

I'll be honest, I can't stand Brady or his coach and it's much more than just the cheating thing

The Dolphins winning the Super Bowl. They have been not just meh, but horrible for the better part of ten or fifteen years and I don't think they've won since their famous undefeated season in the 70s. To see them sack up and beat everybody would be nothing short of shocking.

**I'm not a Patriots fan either lol, they've had their run.

It would mean a whole lot to me if the Bengals won the Super bowl. They just might do it this year!

Actually that would work too. I like the Bengals, primarily for their tiger-stripe helmets. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

I don't know if this is a dig at Payton for that 18 point comeback in 07 or Eli for winning the Super Bowl.

    Either way I'm dancing (!)

I'm not feeling the love here...

Where are all the new England fans that were in other posts.

Still Eli Manning is a fluke. His brother is the one with talent.

I don't disagree for the most part. Peyton is amazing but how do you think Eli pulled it off twice? I mean he isn't that bad I don't think

Good topic, Foxface. I've thought about this before and talked about this with my roommate.

It's tough, but I would have to say Liverpool winning the Premier League would bring me the greatest joy. Winning the Champions League would be amazing (well, just getting in would be amazing, too), but to win the Prem title would just be incredible.

Oh and as far as Eli, being a fluke, and the Patriots...

Winning one Super Bowl? That could've been a fluke.

Winning two Super Bowls, both against New England? Nope, no fluke. Eli (and the Giants as a whole) had their number.

Also, Peyton's obviously the better QB between the two (I mean, he may be the greatest QB ever), but come playoff time, I might just pick Eli.

The thing that would bring the the greatest joy is a Cleveland team winning some sort of title. (It could be the Browns winning the Super Bowl [I'm dreaming there.. I know], the Cavilers winning the NBA title [also a long shot] or the Indians winning the World Series [which they actually made the playoffs, so that's progress]. I don't think I'll live to see any of those teams actually win anything though...

I would definately agree there. Eli was not fluke. He isn't the best QB ever and he is far from but he had the talent to take down the sure winner twice.

Oh man this is tough because my teams haven't won the big one in a while. I would love to see one of the drivers I pull for in NASCAR to win the Sprint Cup, mostly Marcos Ambrose because he's such a kind and humble guy.

I thought about picking the Toronto Raptors, but I don't think I would be able to celebrate it since I would probably die of shock.

C'mon 'Pool! Title race is very open, could be anyone's.

    ---------- Post added 3rd Jan 2014 at 06:56 PM ----------

    Yeah! Very open!
Though, we need to address our defensive issues! (And the injury worries.)

Pick up two full-backs, a winger and a world class attacking or box-to-box midfielder and we're golden.

I can hereby cross the Seahawks winning a Super Bowl off the list!

I think the Stanley Cup is the hardest trophy to win in sports and I'm a huge hockey fan so that one definitely means the most to me. I also love watching the Olympics (pretty much any event) and I always pull for Team Canada in hockey, but that pales in comparison to what I think a Canadiens' Stanley Cup would be like because the journey is so much shorter.

I think a World Series would be awesome if I still had a team, but I don't care about basketball and I don't think a Super Bowl would give me quite as big of a high simply because there's so few games. I don't know though; I've never had a team do anything positive while I've been a fan. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

I've been alive for all of my teams winning a championship, but the last time the Dodgers won a World Series I was only 1 year old and I don't remember it. So that's probably the one I'd most like to see.
