Is this a good camera?

It seems pretty good... I usually just look at the megapixels.

 

megapixels don't really matter unless you wanna print out a picture like really big.. or something

I would look for reviews of that on google, if I were you.
Usually though, I would get a Sony or Nikon camera

 

I have one of those and it's alright... nothing special. The fact that it uses AA batteries really annoys me. My family has a Canon Ixus 75 which is also 7 megapixels and works brilliantly, but I'm not sure how much it cost. I'd reccomend checking that out.

 

I took it on a trip for three days and it lasted until I got home and plugged it in... then it died and I couldn't upload my photos. The Canon has a much longer battery life, but I think its more expensive.
