Hey, I forgot about this guy - George Eads. He was on "CSI." Since he comes from rich parents and was a frat boy, he's probably someone most people here wouldn't want to know, except in the Biblical sense. While probably another Hollywood jerk, he's one of the better looking guys we've seen on TV. Take the poll. http://kpitalrisk.free.fr/images/stars/85000/s_georgeeads5_.jpg
Nope, not for me. Pretty much the opposite of what I find attractive...this guy is way too smug, muscular and preppy looking. He'd make a boner deflate real quick, if I had one. I like skinnier, quirky types. And that show was horrible, at least to me!
I think the muscles were add-ons. I think he was equipped with an ordinary frame and is not especially tall. I think that your assessments of smug and preppy are probably spot on. That's what is implied by physiognomy, something that was refuted when I alluded to it on another thread. Unless you were rich, influential, and A-list, you wouldn't chat this guy up in the first class section of an airplane if in the seat next to you. He wouldn't bite. One look at him tells you that. Good read on your part. I do find him him attractive, but I don't think I'd like him as a person, even if he wasn't a celebrity.
Plus, his jaw is too square, and he's just too 'broad-shouldered'/big for me...I guess maybe he approximated too much of the stereotypical ideal of the American male for me, reminder me of all those kids who insulted me and beat me up in gym class...gives off bad connotations. Odd, how attraction works, have never really been able to figure it out, though I find a very, very small % of males attractive...maybe 1 in 100 or 1 in 500, if that.
All of this. I rarely find people who you might call classically handsome, at all attractive. I'm more into skinny guys too even though I'm sort of big ish.
I'm really alone on this one. Not even one "pretty good" thus far. Is he too old for a lot of the respondents? I'm wondering.
Not bad, but a little generic for my taste. I like a little more of an offbeat look. Now, if you were talking Eric Szmanda from the same show, it would be a different story!
I remember having a crush on him when I was a kid. Not so much anymore, but I still think that he's pretty good-looking.
The more I think about this, not that I'm thinking about it a lot, he actually might fall between "very hot" and "pretty good." I definitely think celebs like Michael Ontkean and Scott Bakula, in "American Beauty" vintage, have it over George Eads. However, my friend who comes up with all these funny acronyms and expressions thinks George Eads is the top of the heap. I think celebs like Eads with the "big man on campus" looks sort of represent the person he aspired to be ... that's my theory about my friend from all his comments and things he has said, cumulatively.
Not really into him, but I love his character on the show. He's one of my favorites, along with Greg.
