Any Xena fans in here?

    I am a huge Xena fan, probably one of the biggest fans I know honestly. Anyway, Lucy Lawless was talking about the possibility of a new brand of Xena. Now I do not know what that means. She was talking about them bringing Xena back alive, but that they would find someone else to fill Xena's shoes with a new character that is like Xena. I am not sure how I feel about that. I am a diehard fan and if they bring on new actors then I am not sure how I am going to feel about it. Actually I know how I will feel, and I know I wouldn't like it, but I would give it a chance.

    Are you a Xena fan, and if so how would you react to a whole new brand of Xena without any of the original actors?

    I used to watch Xena and Hercules faithfully. They should leave it alone IMO. A Gabrielle series might be interesting with Gabby having a student of her own.

    I would go for a Gabrielle series but only in Renee O' Connor in the role. I like the idea of her having a student of her own.

    Huge fan of Xena here, Like you couldn't tell by the sigs and avatar. Xena and Gabs are my original OTP. I will forever love that show. It was one of the few things that let me know I was somewhat normal as a queer girl growing up. I am not sure how I feel about a reboot. Honestly it could go either way good or bad. But I do miss the show. If they get the right actors and keep the spirit of the characters alive, I could go for it.

    Loved the series growing up, but I wouldn't want a new series. As far as I'm concerned, the only guy fit for the role of Ares is Kevin Smith, and given that he died...

    I saw it when I was really young and didn't understand much, but I really like the fighting scenes and the Chakaram will always be for me the coolest throwing weapon (and the fact that Xena has one that can split into two!!!).
    I also like the centaurs in there which is something I remember for some reason.
    Xena rocks!

    My mom used to threaten me with Xena when I was a kid, that show scared the crap out of me.

    From what I remember she was menacingly hot.

    I adore the Xena/Gabrielle ship! I've had crushes on both of them at different times. I preferred Xena as a teenager and Gabrielle as an adult.

    They would have to fill Lucy Lawless's shoes with a fitting actress. But ya I love Lucy Lawless in general.

    I use to watch it with my dad. I barely recall it from then but I've re-watched most of it online. He enjoyed Hercules as well. I plan on purchasing the entire series in the future.

    Huuuuuuuge Xena fan here! :icon_bigg Super obsessed with this show growing up, collected the merch, comic books, posters, I still rewatch the episodes daily. All-time favorite show!

    Favorite season was S5 and fav episode was Motherhood when Mama Bear Xena got all badass and defeated Athena and the other gods! (!) and A Necessary Evil from S2, here comes trouble :eusa_danc

    I was really hoping we would've gotten a Xena movie by now, I want so badly for them to undo what happened in a Friend in Need :frowning2: That finale completely ripped my heart out. As far as I'm concerned the series ended with Many Happy Returns with Xena and Gabby riding off into the sunset together and happy and perfect.

    I honestly can't picture anyone else playing Xena except Lucy Lawless... but I'd still support a reboot just to see the franchise revived again! I miss my Warrior Princess!

    Hope they will make a new movie or something like that.
    But it have to be with Lucy and Rene although they're not that young anymore:grin:

    I love S2 "A day in the life"! Watched it many times already:grin:
