Anything depending on my mood...but if you had to bet on what I'd be listening to and it wasn't a musical soundtrack it would probably be one of the following:

    Sabaton
    Bowling for Soup
    Cherryholmes
    Frankie Valli
    Anthem
Beau Jocque and the Zydeco High Rollers
    Huey Lewis
    Garth Brooks

    One of those usually :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Probably jazz. It's both relaxing and cerebral.

The list of artists is long. One jazz artist was a jaw dropper when he was younger, but his music featured way too much repetition through a piece ... way too much repetition, that it irritated people in the car. That jaw dropper would be David Sanborn, when he sported this look:

My favorites are metal (specifically circus-like and Viking-based, but hair metal is also really big for me), classic rock (50s-80s), and electronica.

Some of my favorite artists are KISS, Daft Punk, Europe, Def Leppard, Dokken, Turisas, Lordi, Stolen Babies, Amberian Dawn, and Nox Arcana

Electronic music and industrial music. My favorite electronic artist has to be Aphex Twin - he made a genre called IDM. As chaotic as the genre may be, there are beautiful melodies found in the chaos. I love it . My favorite industrial artist is Nine Inch Nails - as mainstream or chliche as it may be, Trent Reznor made the music popular. Trent's one of my idols, and is still making music.

My "favorite" genre would have to be Alternative Pop/Rock, since I tend to enjoy the lyricists that exists in the music of that genre. I enjoy main different types of music, but it is usually only the music that I can imagine scenes to that leaves an impression on me in the long run. Though that doesn't mean that all my favorite songs or artists come from that genre.

My top three artists would have to be Florence, Beyonce, and Lana Del Rey. Lorde and Adele have both made impression on me, but I don't think they have enough music out to prove strong enough competition.

Classic rock and video game soundtracks, mostly, but I'll listen to anything that sounds good to me. I hate rap, pop, and hip hop, though even those genres have songs that sound good to me. I'd have to say my all-time favorite performer is Ozzy Osbourne, but I can't say no to the likes of Rob Zombie, Alice Cooper, Twisted Sister, Styx, REO Speedwagon, AC/DC, Queen, Elton John, and the list just goes on and on and on from there. I also really like Metal, particularly ManOWar, ACCEPT, Megadeth, and Motorhead, but if it's Metal, I'll listen to it, and also Daft Punk. And Midnight Syndicate and Nox Arcana.

Mostly '80s and '90s stuff, though I like Jpop and stuff by Alizee, too.

    Emilie Autumn is really good.

My tastes are super eclectic, but I really love grunge and have a strong taste for even the crappiest classic rock. Right now I'm really into the Killers, Keane, Lady Gaga (I know), and Bob Dylan (big suprise there). Soundgarden/Audioslave, Elton John, Coldplay, Queen and Pearl Jam are eternal favorites. (Wait: add Marina and the Diamonds. I just think she's great)
