Apple have just released (30th June) a free update to 10.5.4 for all Leopard users. Get it via Software Update (Apple menu -> Software Update) Detailed info about the security updates Detailed info about the update and other things (not security related) Like I said, it's free and only 59MB too
I assume that just updates the 10.5.x series, so it's like a service pack for Windows? So it won't update 10.4.x to 10.5.x?
Correct Paul. You need to buy the Leopard (10.5's codename) update from either an Apple store, online, or from an Apple authorised reseller to get it. And that is the 4th free update since October last year, too
i hope it fixes the problems i've been having with Mail lately, it keeps asking me to enter my password!
riley: The password might be incorrectly configured in the keychain, possibly. Open up "Keychain Access" in ~/Applications/Utilities and delete JUST THE RECORD THAT IS CAUSING PROBLEMS (don't delete them all. It doesn't do anything that you can't fix, but it will mean that you will have to re-enter passwords for things that you have already saved (websites, etc.) You have been warned.)
