To me, I think there are a lot of songs that can calm my soul when I'm having problems. One of them is It Is What It Is by Lifehouse. The message is something I relate to, and it's quiet and slow. It's one of my favorites.

I find typical light soothing music good for some things but today I was kind of upset after work, and I turned on my music as loud as I could and played the most ignorant ghetto club bangers about getting drunk and throwing money in the air and such that I had on my playlist. Felt recharged and better. Afterwards. It's all a matter of perspective.

I'm going to ammend what I said earlier. Anything by Lifehouse, along with by David Cook or Kenny Loggins, has the ability to calm me down.

I do too  They are one of my favorite bands and I have had the privilege of seeing them live. Also to be added to that list is Daughtry. I keep finding more and more lol.
