I second Blue Monday, that's one of the best songs I've ever heard.

dEpEchE modE- Suffer Well - YouTube
Although it's well worth listening to Depeche Mode's early songs! This one is more electronic rock.
Duran Duran - Planet Earth - YouTube
    New Order - 1963 - YouTube
Ashbury Heights - Eternity At An End - YouTube
Imperative Reaction - As We Fall - As We Fall - YouTube
Mylo - Drop the Pressure - YouTube
UnterArt - Now or never - YouTube
The Prodigy - Fuel my fire - YouTube

I could go on almost ad infinitum!

I have to agree with FrozenFae in regards to skrillex and the like. For me it just doesn't click. If I want some nasty distorted basslines I'll harken back to some proper stompin mind f***** old school tech house(first link below), or some tech-funk (second link below).

    YES. [Trap] Dillon Francis

And to everyone saying "older is better than new stuff".

    Why?

    Can't you just appreciate both?

I listen to both new (Diplo,Skrillex,Dillon Francis,Chemical Brothers) and old stuff (New Order mostly but Frankie and Depeche Mode,as well as Kraftwerk) and they are all AMAZING.

The fact that people are doing other stuff nowadays doesn't mean they aren't as good as the old ones!

Give music a chance before just saying its "stupid" or "nonsense".

    Older doesn't mean better.

    Older means "older".

After the Grammys (ies)? I started listening to a lot of Daft Punk. I think I like their live album the best.

Older isn't always better and being new doesn't necessarily make it good. Personal taste is the deciding factor. I gave electro house many years to grow on me and it never happened, the same has happened with dubstep so far. Who knows, someone may put out a killer remix of Benny Goodman that floors me.
