I'm not sure whether anyone has posted about this already, but I haven't seen anything. Does anyone else watch House of Cards? The second season premiered on Netflix yesterday and I can't stop watching it! It's such a good show! Just keeps getting better with each episode!
It is so good! I've persuaded a few people to watch it and they haven't been disappointed. It's one of those shows which definitely gets better as it goes along.
I watched the first season a few months and found it pretty meh to be honest. Most of the characters, outside of Frank and Claire, just weren't that interesting. The narrative structure also got a bit messy and plodding within the middle half. I'm definitely planning on checking out Season 2 soon though. From what I've heard so far, it's a significant improvement over the first in almost every way imaginable.
Yeah I tried to download season two on friday but couldn't find it from anywhere reliable, will get on it as soon as I can find a decent torrent for it, probably tomorrow, really enjoyed the first series.
I just finished chapter 10 of season 1 and I'm loving it. Really curious to see how the season will wrap up and where season 2 will go.
You all have so much to look forward to! I've almost finished season 2 already. It's one of those shows where I keep telling myself I'll watch "one more episode" then stop for a while.
I've seen the first season, which I thought was pretty good. It had it's ups and downs ad some narrative story problems but it was mostly good, and I thought it was well acted (Kevin Spacey and Robin Wright are brilliant in their roles), and I am definitely looking forward to Season 2.

About halfway through season 1. Really surprised by how much I like it because I have no care for politics. What do you guys this, does the show require you to have political knowledge or interest?
I don't think you need to be interested in politics. I like politics but I know others who don't and still really enjoy this show. And you've got so many awesome episodes still to come!
I saw the first season, and enjoyed it. But I'm a political science student... so yeah. Haven't seen the second season yet but I plan to!
