I think she's fun and I like that she has that same sort of strong youthful energy Matt smith's doctor had. I feel like it will even out capaldi's angry eagle this next season. Also, I love her style

She is definitely not my favorite companion but I find her a lot less annoying now than I did at first. I like how her background/mystery resolved itself.

I don't hate her but for now i find her bland, not having much personality beside being mysterious. Maybe the next season will show a bit more.

She's basically Moffat's standard 'feisty' female character but toned down a bit in order to make The Doctor look better and not having much of a personality beyond a few one-word traits, while spending pretty much all of her screentime being a plot device instead of an actual character. Which is a shame, because Jenna Coleman's done really well with the material she's been given. Hopefully things get better with Capaldi though.

Clara is just so bland. Like a stereotypical Doctor Who companion.

I also liked Rose but not as much as Amy.
I like Clara, but she's not my favorite

I actually wasn't a huge fan of Amy and Rory But I did love their story if that makes since. TBH I wasn't a big fan of Matt Smith till the last season with Rory and Amy then with Clara.

This is almost exactly what I was going to say. Moffat tried too hard to make her mysterious and forgot that she's supposed to be a person.

    Everyone likes Rose!

I love Rory! Or maybe it's just Arthur Darvill :icon_wink

I have got mixed reactions to Rose on the internet its weird how could you not like her?
I feel you there the 50th didn't help either. Clara is really the only one I've enjoyed a lot since Rose.

Dona is the BEST companion ever, nobody has a chance against her, that's why she hadn't been mentioned above!

I don't like clara, she isn't as interesting as the other companions, or has as much personality. When she was first introduced in the Dalek asylum (I really liked that episode) I was exited to know more about her but when she finally became the doctor's companion as the "original" clara and not the souffle making super genious shown in the asylum I lost interest

But, I don't dislike her either...

Yeah Donna kicks ass. She's my favorite. And I think she's also the most tragic.

Honestly everything from season 5 on just really confused me! I don't mind Clara but I also don't find her all that interesting. I liked Amy and Rory but I didn't like the whole dynamic there between the three of them as much. Honestly my least favourite companion has to be Rose, and my favourite is definitely Donna!!

Why is everybody hating on Rose? Clara is my least favorite with Martha as a close second.

Why is everybody hating on Rose?

Well this is a hot issue.
Some think Rose is a Mary Sue by the fact she's the Doctor's love interrest and gets some gushing after her departure, like in the Shakespear's code when the doctor says to Martha that she's so clever "she would know what to do". For those who grown up with the Doctor as a father figure in the classics series don't like seeing the doctor flirting with young ladies thus dislike shipping in general.
Others don't like her because of her treatment of her mother and ex boyfriend. There is also some favoritism toward her. Back to season 1, the doctor fired Adam after he brought technology from the future to his home. In the very next episode, the doctor forgave Rose after she screwed time itself in order to save her father.

While I do like Rose, i arcknowledge that she can be a bitch at times. My favorite companion in the new series is also Donna because she gets character devellopment during her sole season.
