Yeah there are gay people who like Taylor Swift. Sexuality doesn't determine your musical taste.

I'm not a huge fan myself, but I like some of her songs. So far as favorite musicians go, I prefer Sabaton, Loreena McKennitt, Emerald Rose, Nightwish, Lady Gaga, The Police, Pink and most Broadway songs. Even if I don't particularly likethe musicals they're from. :lol:

I do enjoy T.Swift, well sometimes.

Personally I have a pretty varied taste in music.

I listen to The Used, Evanescence, Breaking Benjamin, Shakira in Spanish, J-pop, Avril Lavigne, Hopsin, Eminem, My Chem Romance, Anna Nalick, and w/e catches my attention. lol

 

I love Taylor Swift, I think the hate she gets is ridiculous sometimes, she's one of my favourite artists if not my absolute favourite. I've been to two of her concerts.

 

My sister loves Taylos Swift. I don't like her so much, but she sings nice songs.

I prefer artists like OreRepublic, John Newman, James Blunt, Bastille...

 

Not a fan of her music but I don't get the hate surrounding her, either.
(I can get the hate for Justin Bieber though...stupid little spoiled brat lol.)

I'm more into older music but there are more modern musicians that I enjoy...they're just not...poppy and mainstream?

I really like the blues, so I'm partial to musicians like Howlin' Wolf and John Lee Hooker. I love classic rock, especially prog rock like Electric Light Orchestra, Chicago, Alan Parsons, Jethro Tull, and Yes. Other bands I love are Boston, Dio, Rainbow, Black Sabbath (I reaaaalllly love Ronnie James Dio, my favorite voice in rock. Was devastated when he died), Queen, Fleetwood Mac (more the early blues years with Peter Green, though I do like Bob Welch too), Blood Sweat and Tears, Deep Purple, J.Geils Band, Aerosmith and Blue Oyster Cult.

For 80s I like Duran Duran, Big Country, Depeche Mode, and Heart a lot.

Also into Flogging Molly, The Pogues, The Sheepdogs, and Katzenjammer.

If I listed all the bands I like, it would take up a whole novel lol.

If it helps matters, I have definitely heard worse musicians than her. She's just never been my cup of tea.

As for favorite musician, Jethro Tull fan 'till the day I die

 

I love Taylor Swift. I have all her albums, loved her pretty much the second I heard one of her songs. She gets a lot of hate (comes with fame I guess) but I think she seems like a cool, charming person and I really enjoy her music.

It's hard to pick a favorite musician, but I'm very fond of He is We.

 

Yeah... I have lots of jointly-favourite artists that change day-to-day and mood-to-mood.

Can't say I'm into Taylor Swift, but that's just my take. I'm into a fairly big range of stuff, modern stuff like Keane, London Grammar, Bastille, David Gray as well as older stuff (mostly 70s prog) like King Crimson, Mahavishnu Orchestra, Anglagard (well, 90s... not really that old!), Shakti.

It's very hard to pin down a definitive *favourite* musician though. Partly because that changes with my mood and partly because I have favourite songs/albums more than I have favourite artists.

Taylor Swift used to be good. I like her older songs, and she does have a nice voice, but not when using it to sing about breakups and revenge.

 

I personally am not a huge fan of her vocally, but I think overall she seems like a very well-grounded girl, for having such huge fame come on her at such a young age.

I am a huge country fan though I'll pretty much listen to about every genre to be honest.

OH MY GOD TAYLOR SWIFT! Sorry, complete fanboy here. I really love her older songs, and she still has a great voice, but her newer ones just aren't the same. At least she's still pretty!

 

She's not brilliant, but some of her songs are fun to sing along to loudly (and badly) in a car with some friends.

And favourite musicians: Muse, Foo Fighters, Pulp, Blur, Oasis, Los Campesinos!, Green Day, [Spunge], American Authors, Metric, The Fratellis, Pixies...there's a few. Surprisingly though, I don't listen to music all that often. Yes, I'm weird.

 

Yay! Nightwish fan! (*hug*) They're fantastic, aren't they? Even better in concert. And oooooh, Shakira. She's awesome.

they were more countryish and less poppy.
And I really wish she would sing about some
thing other then breakups.
