1349, AC/DC, Agonoize, Amon Amarth, Apocalyptica, Arch Enemy, Arcturus, Bal-Sagoth, Belphegor, Black Sabbath, Bloodbath, Bolt Thrower, Candlemass, Children of Bodom, Combichrist, Cult of Luna, Dark Funeral, Dawn of Ashes, Deathspell Omega, Deathstars, Deicide, Depeche Mode, Deströyer 666, Dismember, Dissection, Disturbed, Duran Duran, Emperor, Ensiferum, Eternal Tears of Sorrow, Fear Factory, Funker Vogt, Gamma Ray, God Module, HammerFall,Hour of Penance, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Katalepsy, Kindzadza, Krisiun, Kylie Minogue, Lady Gaga, Morbid Angel, Motörhead, Necro, Nelly Furtado, New Order, Old Man's Child, Origin, Powerwolf, Primal Fear, Rammstein, Sabaton, Samael, Satyricon, Severe Torture, Shade Empire, Sigh, Slayer, Sodom, Strapping Young Lad, Suffocation, Suicide Commando, Sven Wittekind, Terranoise, The Berzerker, The Killers, The Kovenant, The Monolith Deathcult, The Prodigy, The Rolling Stones, Two Steps From Hell, X-Fusion... I could go on for a looooong time, as I'm sure many people who've had access to the internet could. YouTube is the best way to discover new music and Amazon sells almost anything. Although you may spend a lot more money at concerts. Some of that stuff is overpriced.

I'm familiar with most of the artists you listen to but not by my choice. I agree with Lady Gaga, and MAYBE some Avril Lavigne. Also I recently tried to get into dubstep and I failed xD To me there is more to listening to music to enjoy it a la Dragonfroce. There's artistic merit vs enjoyment factor to consider. So you love music, continue to expand what you listen to and enjoy whatever you like if it doesn't spread hate/harm... such as National Socialist Black Metal... f**k that music.

Depeche Mode is my fave band ever. I grew up listening to them and got mocked for listening to 'old rubbish'. Dismember is my fave Metal band. My fave sub-genre of Metal is Death Metal. Particularly early 90s Swedish Death Metal, Technical Death Metal, and Brutal Death Metal. A bit of Deathcore is okay and I have no problem with people listening to it. A few people fight like cat and dog with Black Metal and Death Metal... let's just enjoy our music! If a kid (or adult for that matter) wears a Slipknot shirt; I won't make fun of them for it. If it's a Graveland shirt; I'll be asking some questions. I'll judge a person on how they behave and especially how they treat others.

Why do we enjoy music? We relate to it. Sometimes re relate indirectly to it... I'm not the best with words! Our environment can influence this. I love dark psychedelic trance... I mostly listen to compilations with more artists than you can shake a stick at. It's a similar problem with some other electronic music! I enjoy mostly Heavy Metal, plenty electronic music, some classical music and other genres sometimes turn up. Yeah, you should all try Two Steps From Hell! I just had to ramble.

I'm listening to music most of the time I'm awake. I'm listening right now. I don't know what most of my video games sound like. I even listen when I can get away with it working and reading. I stop when I talk to people. I can't be too antisocial! I play bc rich guitar and I make music (techno, psytrance, dnb...) with various music software... I'm bad at both xD Whatever! I only let close friends listen to the noise and we laugh about it. I'm not cut out to be an artist but I f**king love music!

i listen to a lot of heavy metal haha , my main bands i like to listen to are
Dissection, Hypocrisy, Bolt Thrower, Kreator, Overkill, Dying Fetus, Emperor, 1349, Goatwhore, Exhumed, Dark Tranquility, KMFDM, The Absence. The Chasm, Detest, Creepmime, Origin, Iced Earth, Hammerfall, Accept, Saxon, Motorhead, Type O Negatve, Seventh Void, Candlemass, Cathedral, Saint Vitus, Pentagram, Vader, Wodensthrone, Agalloch, Watain, Immolation, Malevolent Creation, Stratovarius, Putrid Pile, Project Hate MCMXCIX, Devin Townsend(and projects), At The Gates, Behemoth, Scythe(germany), Rush, Blind Guardian, Anvil, Izegrim, Crush, Holymarsh, Cripper, Cerebral Bore, Bathory, Reverend Bizzare, Acid Witch, Acid Bath.........ok lemme shut up before i list the whole damn library, point is, it's awesome to have music around, enjoy what you want to enjoy

i could probably listen to a Selena (quintanilla, original one lol, yea i'm a 90's kid, sue me =P) song every once in a while, but i guess it's my main genre, i like heavy metal (any, from black, death, heavy, doom, thrash) , and it's open to anyone that's willing to give it a listen, although the bands i listed might be a bit extreme or heavy, but it's got something everyone might like. i just like heavy stuff :icon_wink

Yea Lawrence, there's a lot of fighting between Death and Black Metal, but you don't really notice it as much when you go to concerts, cause everyone is too busy headbanging. unless they're willing to instigate, but that's another story.

Glee and I started liking My Chemical Romance again even if their band has broken up, but they were really big when I like 13 or something and everyone was going through the emo phase.
