Great so you choose to define yourself as a lesbian that likes a t.v show The show is well written and pretty funny, just not all that engaging as far as plots go. I kind of tend to not enjoy shows that are confined for the most part to only a few sets; Seinfeld being the exception. It just leads to a lack of diversity in the shows plots. I really do like it though.
I saw some episodes of it too... but I wouldn't say I am really into the show.. it was funny when Sheldon kissed Leonard's mother LOL!!!

I like it because I'm a socially awkward nerd as well. I get compared to Sheldon regularly. Someone even asked me if I was "like Sheldon" (in this case meaning asexual) because I don't show much attraction to girls.
Its not nearly as bad as some people make it out to be, and it can be pretty funny, although I wouldn't put it in my favorites. Penny's probably my favorite.
I love it, personally. It's nerdy and silly and, yeah, the Lenny romance is boring and tired but I think it's fantastic.
