I agree completely. I thought the new one was even better than the original (acting, effects, insane cheesiness.) It does a really good job of seeing what the original was going for but even adding in some new stuff and nods to the fans. Although its not quite at Evil Dead 2/Bruce Campbell insanity levels. Hail to the King Baby! Campbell was in the first one, though. Ash just got way better in the sequels. I can't wait till the new Evil Dead 2, Army of Darkness 4, and the movie after that which combines the franchises. They all sound groovy.
