BMO is a very interesting character on Adventure Time to say the least. I thought he was a girl for the longest time xD
Yup I had BMO as an avatar (still do in a different way on different places) on here once. I also have a BMO backpack. That thing is very useful. Funny enough, I got BMO on nearly every "what adventure time character are you" on quizzes, and even looked into his story and personality traits. Still definitely relate to BMO very, very well.
Very interesting video, I guess I missed it in the show where they use male pronouns for Bmo, always assumed Bmo was a female. But oh man those comments, I can't believe the way some people think
Some of the comments are painful and some of them are pretty nice. I always find it cool when some gruff, straight, cisgender man sticks up for the transgender community. Makes me feel like the world is starting to open up.
I'm gonna have to go check out the comments after the last posts I just read xD Also I disagree with the video premise. I don't think BMO is expressive of feminism I think BMO is expresses of being gender fluid. BMO is expressively masculine and feminine I like the comments. I was expecting it to be a crap storm of negative remarks. It was best described as a balance of good and bad. A ying-yang of love and hate.
