So the movie Divergent is coming out this weekend, are you excited to see it? Not at all interested? My school forced us to read the books as a summer reading project so a lot of people at my school actually resent the series because its a school book in their eyes. I am interested to see what peoples' outlook on the series is outside of my area.
I love most of the books (not a fan of the 3rd and not in love with the second) and I'm really excited to see the movie soon!
I haven't read the books. Nor did I read Harry potter or hunger games. Perhaps that's why I looked those two movies. Might enjoy this too.

Not gonna lie, it looks like it's brazenly riding the coattails of other teen fic successes. A merit-based sorting system in a dystopian future where they have to train and fight to the death against some shadowy organization for their freedom? I know those are staples of the Young Adult genre, but it seems very hollow. :/
