I was really questioning myself during its release and it made me feel better about myself.

Also I love Olaf. He was great. Funny and ditzy.

I'd give my left leg for a chance to see it. It just came out on DVD though, so maybe my mom will buy it for me.

I think he's voiced by one of the guys from The Book of Mormon. Yet one of the over 9,000 reasons why I need to watch this freakin' movie.

Watched it for the 3rd time saturday night. i love it. The music is fantastic (anything with Idina Menzel singing i gonna be brilliant) and I love the focus on family love. The morals within the film and the unexpected twists that catch even older viewers are great. I think it's so good.

I've never seen it-- only the music video on YT for Let It Go. But I find myself singing or whistling the chorus to it like every ten minutes. Idina rawks!

Me me me me! You know when they duet on For the first time in forever (reprise) song. That's just beyond great, how she sings at the top of her lungs

Is that the song they were singing in the ice castle
right before Elsa had a freak out and accidentally cursed her sister?

    Yup, that's it.

Might be hard to tell from my pro pic/signature, but I'm a Frozener as well...

so wow...I was planning on making an Elsa or Anna signature..when I stumbled across a woman who tore up (in writing) the scene where Elsa changes from her gown to become the Ice Queen (Let It Go) and talked about how it was an oversexualized scene because she had a 'come-hither" look and a vampish sway to her hips

That irritates me a ton...I saw that scene as Elsa freeing herself and becoming who she is...a strong female who wants to not be afraid to show the world that she is powerful

I mean I guess I could say that writer overanalyzed the scene...but then again I just did too

There was a lot to analyze there... You weren't wrong.

I personally felt that was her freedom...in every sense of the word...not an over-sexual mark of womanhood where Else became some naughty queen...she was expressing her power

    IMO of course

Love the film too!! Especially the songs...the catchiest Disney songs have been for a looooong time.

And Let It Go is my fav Disney theme since Colours of the Wind (Pocahontas)

I thought the theme of the movie was absolutely excellent & the ending was a stroke of genius. They were brave enough to not have the typical "romantic love saves all" ending.

Regarding that scene, I'll be honest when I saw it for the first time I thought they had suddenly oversexualised her too...there are ways of showing a strong woman without the obvious sexual overtones they gave her in that part. More than anything it just seemed a bit out of place. A more subtle development of character would've been more mature. Anyway that was hardly a big problem!

The snowman was SUCH AN AWESOME CHARACTER...funniest sidekick in a long time!

On the whole I hope this means Disney original animation quality is back!

I don't know...I guess the look and sway just didn't bother me that much because the overall message of freedom I took from it was enough for me

and shameless self bump for new signature...took me a little while...I might make something with Anna next but I am not sure

I see where you're coming from that's for sure. It did show a contrast to the really "covered up" & "stoic" elsa before that part. Guess it was too quick a change for me personally.

    Nice signature!

Love the movie. I painted Olaf with acrylics on my notebook. Alas, I no longer have him anymore, my friend was really sad one day, but that's alright.

"Winter's a good time to stay in and cuddle, but put me in summer and I'll be a- ...

    HAPPY SNOWMAN!"
    XD

Plus, even if you aren't attracted to women, you gotta admit that part when Elsa walked out on the balcony was probably one of the sexiest moments ever put in a Disney film lol I loved that though- what it sort of, for lack of a better word I suppose, symbolized.

Olaf was definitely my fave, but a lot of the kids at my school have ruined it for me because of their obsession.

I kinda-sorta know the script by heart, thanks to Tumblr posts seeping into my facebook feed. And I've now made a fan video. From the DVD. I did get the digital download as well so I can watch it daily on a regular basis. And I kinda did 3 backflips in the AMC chair when I saw Idina played Elsa.

... yeah. Welcome to the clan

BTW I just saw the poster above me is under the username "Nessarose". That's awesome. On 3 levels, at least.

Another thing: I've started doing even more Frozen/Wicked fanart. I might post some of it here.

Definitely not. I don't use any social media, but the stuff it comes up with... Ahhhhh, love it.
