One word to describe the experience ....AMAZING. Wish i got it a few months ago, maybe it'd have influenced my uncle's views on homosexuality. My family is just like Bobby's. They are super religious and one person in partiactlar, my uncle, is just like Bobby's mom. They kinda knew that i was gay from a young age but they pretended it was nothing. I found an amazing boyfriend 2 and a half years ago and decided to come out to my uncle. Well, just like Bobby's mom, he gave me the eternal damnation speech. He actually said that same statement about wanting his family to meet in heaven. After that we pretended it never happened. The worst part is that he's very influential in my family. Good thing is he likes watching movies on my laptop so i'm leaving this one on the desktop for him.
Yes an AMAZING movie! Life is so short. I am glad to see my family came around when they found out that I was a lesbian. I watched this movie about three months ago for the very first time and related so well to it.
