What genre? I listen to music and sing when I'm alone, so I have a few.

    Haha they are aren't they!

Try Paradise or Viva la vida from coldplay...they're more upbeat.

Do you sing just for fun or are you serious about singing?

    No...just for fun!
Yeah, sometimes I take viva la vida and paradise but currently I think they're too boring.
I need songs that are emotional and I can sing along 'with heart'.
Maybe something like 3 doors down - not my time.
    Thanks for help:slight_smile:

Depends on the audience! My extended family would freak if I sang Bloodbath songs to them xD

Clean singing? What about Radiohead - Creep? If you're singing alone then try everything! You might wanna find out your vocal range. I say that 'cos I had an awful time trying to sing anything below mezzo soprano. You can't emulate most artists, you just have to sing in your own range

Time Stands Still by Rush is pretty fun to sing, one of their more vocal heavy songs without it being completely impossible to sing (like it is with a lot of their early material), and it also got some nice pre-choruses by a female guest vocalist

Is this for karaoke? It depends on what your vocal range is. Are you soprano, alto, mezzo?

I saw a guy (I know you're not a guy) do the one below at the old Sunset Bowl in Ballard one time. He brought his own CD or mp3.

    It was awesome. Very cathartic.

Well, I sang "Hero" by Mariah Carey at a little show organized by my school  there are also Try, Summer Paradise and many others from Simple Plan, which are simple, or even Baby One More Time by Britney Spears
