    I'm trying to expand my muisical influences beyond R and the only Electronica-ish band I like is Owl City. Any other options?

    There is a singer named Lights. She is like a female version of Owl City. I recommend her album "The Listening"

    Not sure exactly what you mean by Electronica Bands, you could try AIR though, they use a lot of synthesizers, and their music is fairly unique.
