    I'm feeling the need to update my playlist, so I was wondering what music you guys listen to? Personally I'll listen to pretty much anything except for metal (and I'm not too keen on country either) but I figure this thread could be useful for lots of people, and those people don't necessarily like the same music as me, so feel free to just ignore my preferences.

    Here are some of my favourites (in a completely random order):

    1. The Lovecats - The Cure
    2. Kaizers Orchestra (they only sing in Norwegian, though. If you're gonna listen to them I recommend looking up translations, because the lyrics are kind of important)
    3. Lana Del Rey
    4: Lorde
    5. The soundtrack from the movie "Across the Universe" (which by the way is a really awesome movie)
    6. Ed Sheeran
    7. Marina and the Diamonds (celebrity crush #1)
    8. Two Door Cinema Club
    9. Intro - xx
    10. Do You Have A Little Time - Dido
    11. Bloody Mary - Lady Gaga
    12. Come On Eileen - Dexys Midnight Runners
    13. We are The People - Empire Of The Sun
    14. Soul Killing - The Ting Tings
    15. Heads Will Roll A-trak Radio Edit - Yeah Yeah Yeahs
    16. Amy Winehouse
    17. Gorillaz
    18. The Neighbourhood

    I like The Neighbourhood as well.
    At the moment i listen a lot to Led Zeppelin.
    A bit Kiss, some Scorpion, and Metallica.
    At the moment i just LOVE Mughty Oaks!

    Actually: has anyone else heard any songs from Mighty Oaks? They released an album not long ago, their songs are AMAZING. i swear just run and listen to them!!!!!!
    My favourites must probably be Just One Day, Brother and Horse. (ofcourse i love all the songs. lol)

    so go, go listen to Mighty Oaks!!! xD sorry but noone else i have talked to has heard the songs yet, and i want to show them to people. I have no idea how the radio stations haven`t found out yet xD I`m just afraid i will get tired of them, and THEN months later people discovers them and starts listening to them. Maybe not everyone likes their songs, but everyone i have showed them to so far think they are really good.

    I like the cure and lovecats is a really catchy song :slight_smile:
    And I'm in love with heads will roll since I saw the movie project x :thumbsup:

    I'm not so much into the stuff from the charts and radio..
    I'm more a fan of alternative stuff. There are pretty much different artists and song from different genres I like.

    If you wanna listen to some of my favorites, here they are:

    Aesthetic Perfection - Lights out (ready to go)
    Dub Fx - Made
    Eskimo Callboy - Is anyone up
    Jennifer Rostock - K.B.A.G.
    We Came As Romans - Glad you came
    Jinjer - Exposed as a liar
    Chase & Status - End credits
    Third Eye Blind - Semi Charmed Life
    (!)

    Notsoshure: I listened to Mighty Oaks yesterday, and after hearing half a song I decided that they are great. Thanks for sharing their awesomeness with me! C:

    Lizzz: I know, right? The Lovecats is my favourite song by The Cure. Listening to it always gets me in a better mood. C: I listened to the songs you mentioned, and I really liked everyone except for Is Anyone Up, Exposed As A Liar and Glad You Came (they were just a bit too noisy for me). I had no idea Head Will Roll was used in a film! :0 Is Project X worth watching? I'm not a Top 10 kind of person either, haha, I just listen to whatever I think sounds good :3

    The Cure <3

    I've been listening to The War On Drugs. Good band, very much recommend. "Burning" and "Lost In The Dream" are my favorite songs at the moment.

  10. You said anything, so I'll just give you some of my favorite K-pop! :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

    EXO's first album XOXO was like one of the BEST K-pop albums in 2013, the single Wolf from the album was kind of bad, but everything else is fantastic! And on the repackage album, the single Growl was pretty good, here's the link to the MV: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I3dezFzsNss&feature=kp

    Then, f(x) released their INCREDIBLE second album called Pink Tape. The single that they debuted with Rum Pum Pum wans't that great, but everything else was! I'll just give you a link to their best single, which was Electric Shock! They even had a funny or die skit with f(x) & Anna Kendrick in it! I'll give you the links to both videos!

    Electric Shock: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n8I8QGFA1oM
    Funny or Die skit: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7VVERnrVTW8

    G-Dragon from BIGBANG released his solo album last year called Coup D'etat! The album is great, I especially love Niliria with Missy Elliott, R.O.D, Shake the World, and Michi GO. Here is the video for the single Michi GO: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mrwnL62HObI

    2NE1 also released their latest album this year entitled Crush. Here are the two music video for both singles from the album!

    Come Back Home: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vLbfv-AAyvQhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vLbfv-AAyvQ

    Happy: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=didptMJxjpE

    Then, Girls Generation released their mini album entitled Mr Mr, and the single Mr Mr wasn't necessarily their best, but it was still good! I prefer their previous single, despite being so different, I Got a Boy better, which one Video of the Year at the first Youtube Music Awards! I'll give links to both.

    Mr Mr: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z8j_XEn9b_8

    I Got a Boy: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wq7ftOZBy0E

    TVXQ also had two great singles, Something and SpellBound, with their new album this year! Something was my first K-pop song of 2014 too!

    Something: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U9HBT6sRSZ8

    Spellbound: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2rU_RZy2XhI

    4minute also came back with single Whatcha Doin Today, and although this single wasn't their best (Volume Up was), the video is still hilarious. Plus, Hyuna (the member of 4minute that was in Gangnam Style) had her own solo single called Ice Cream. I'll give you the links!

    Whatcha Doin Today: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4xLFxfXWDUk

    Volume Up: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qsWl1--Niyg

    Ice Cream: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QlWZluzBNxM&feature=kp

    T-ARA then had two great new releases with their subunit T-ARA N4's single called Jeon Won Diary and then Do You Know Me with the group together.

    Jeon Won Diary (Drama Ver): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CyOK2kjczo0

    Dance Ver: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=74_3c_5SVBM

    Do You Know Me?: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=13liCVKl3Xg

    Akdong Musician is a new brother sister duo under YG Entertainment and you should definitely check out Melted and 200%. The music is good and the duo is so cute!

    200%: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Oi8jDMvd_w

    Melted: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sUCIzn0mRHc

    Also, pretty much everyone in BIGBANG had a solo Korean single last year (except for Daesung it was Japanese & I can't remember it right now), but you should check them out!

    T.O.P's Doom Dada (the song is okay but MV is just like TOP!): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tAoME_aMm1w

    Seungri's Gotta Talk To U (also check out Let's Talk About Love by him as well, that's song is amazing): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yki3X1pG3ZE

    Taeyang's Ringa Linga: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UJfZ69MSlvY

    I won't go in specific with these artists, but you should also check out After School & their subunit Orange Caramel, SHINee, IU, Ailee, GOT7, Lee Hi, and Block B!

    And I suppose I'm done now - If I continue on, I know your wallet will start to cry hahaha :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

    Oooh, so many pretty lists :0 I'm adding all the music you guys have suggested to a playlist so that I can listen to it all later C:

    Yay, music c:
    I've actually heard some of these songs before (like Kids and Paper Planes), but I'd completely forgotten about them. So thanks for reminding me. And I just have to say, you both have awesome taste in music. I love the Beatles, by the way! I honestly have no idea how I forgot to put them on my list... Charli XCX performed on Marina and the Diamonds' tour, didn't she? I haven't listened much to her, but I like Just Desserts, which is a collaboration between the two of them.

    Here's a really weird list of albums I like from different genres in no particular order.

    - Temple of the Dog :: Temple of the Dog
    - Obsession :: Methods of Madness
    - 30 Seconds to Mars :: A Beautiful Lie (their other works are great, but ABL is my favorite)
    - The Crow [Soundtrack] (Easily one of my favorite movie soundtracks Sleepaway Camp II and III. The Cure, Nine Inch Nails, Jane Siberry, Violent Femmes, Rage Against the Machine, Helmet and so on...awesometastic tracks)
    - The Perks of Being a Wallflower [Soundtrack]
    - Soundgarden :: Superunknown
    - Device :: Device
    - Tigers Jaw :: Tigers Jaw
    - Stone Sour :: Come (What)ever May
    - Rammstein :: Sehnsucht
    - Rage Against the Machine :: Battle of Los Angeles (Their self titled album is superb and I've yet to hear all of Evil Empire or Renegades just yet)
    - Rancid :: And Out Comes the Wolves
    - Blink 182 :: Dogs Eating Dogs
    - Macabre :: Dahmer (If you're into 'murder metal' or stuff that's more tongue-in-cheek, I recommend these guys)
    - Mumford and Sons :: Sigh No More // Babel (Had to list both of them)
    - Evans Blue :: Garden of Empires
    - Sigur Ros :: Takk (Shouldn't be hard to find unless you want it on vinyl then have fun paying an arm and a leg for it)
