Huge fan of playing (even though I'm so SO bad) and watching this. The World Championships is on at the moment, Ronnie through to the final (again) and Selby or Robertson to join him. Anyone else been watching this?
Ya, I watch snooker from time to time and I've kept an eye on the World Championships this time round. My uncle was actually a professional snooker player for a short time (Reached the 3rd round of the World Championships one year) so from a young age I've always been around the sport.
No way! That's so awesome! I would so love to know who it was, I'm sure I would have heard of him. I understand why you might not want to say though. Who do you think will win it this year?
Oh yeah, I love snooker. Though unfortunately, I don't watch it leave alone play it too often. I will usually watch the major events (or at least try to, as I don't always have access to a TV). I watched most of the Selby-White match, and I am definitely tivo'ing (is that correct?) the final. Would love to see Neil win the whole thing .
Neil is out I'm afraid mate Lost to Selby last night 17-15. Watching the final as we speak. Probably gonna be a close one I'm sure!
Oh, crap... Too bad I couldn't watch his last match in the tournament. Looks like Selby's on fire. Between him and O'Sullivan, I'm really not sure who to root for. But don't tell me who won. I'll watch it sometimes next week :icon_wink.
Just came across this: BBC News - Ronnie O'Sullivan in M1 car crash on way home from snooker final A defeat and then an accident. How's that for bad luck... Thankfully, no one was seriously injured.
