Will anyone be watching or listening tonight? I'm not sure if it's the songs or political voting I find more amusing.

Will be interesting to see if there is a backlash against Russia for the Ukraine situation? Knowing Eurovision, they'll probably win.

I'm in doubt. There's a band I want to see playing in my city tonight, but they're also playing at a festival I'm attending next month... so I might check in to the Eurovision instead.

I did watch both of the semi-finals, only to heavily criticise most of the acts on Facebook with some of my friends

That's part of the fun Timo. There is usually plenty to criticise :icon_bigg

I'm a huge fan so of course I'll watch! My favourite one so far is Austria (she definitely has a very good voice!). I'm also a fan of Belarus, Russia and Sweden. :icon_bigg

I might watch it tonight mainly because its quite funny, especially with Graham Norton (camp people are funny haha). I was thinking about that with Russia, I dont think they will get as many points as usual.

I think it's not that bad. The worst in my opinion is Finland (without a doubt). :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Ukraine? The song Tick-Tock? She made it (I thought the song was quite good, but my friends seem to disagree on that :icon_bigg )

The old Soviet bloc will still vote for them regardless.

If anything the whole gay rights thing is probably going to prompt a bigger backlash from Eastern Europe towards the west.

Norton can't hold a candle to Terry Wogan.

It already does, see Conchita Wurst's song on Youtube and read the comments.. Some are so hateful. But whatever they say, she made it to the finals! I will laugh so hard if she wins, that would really piss off some countries! :icon_bigg

I thought Finland's rock-like song was quite refreshing for a Eurovision entry, in my opinion it's actually one of the best of this year

Rightfully so. Her performance was great.

You do? I'm glad opinions differ. :icon_bigg It's me, I don't even know whether they sing well or not. It's not my type of music.. Same for Romania's Miracle.

Indeed, it was my favourite performance. The effects were stunning too. :icon_bigg

:roflmao: I can't judge you.. I only liked the trampoline from Greece's entry. :roflmao:

Thats true, but he is still funny. It was a shame when Wogan left.
