Anyone else really excited for Maleficent?

    After falling in love with Frozen, my love for Disney has been reignited! I've been watching the trailers for the movie all week and i'm very excited :grin: Maleficent had always been one of the most iconic villains of all time and Sleeping Beauty was a childhood favorite, the artwork and animation was mesmerizing! It's all brought to life with this movie and we finally get a backstory on the iconic villain! Angelina Jolie looks superb I must add!

    I haven't been this excited for a movie in years! It looks awesome and Maleficent has always been my favourite Disney Villain. You can't beat The Mistress of All Evil!

    Well for a second there I thought I was the only one here stoked for it xD glad to see others are as well, the promos do look really good, I'm loving the art style! The original is remembered for it's beautiful art style and magical world but the story was very shallow. Hopefully they bring it all together this time, I'm glad it's focusing on Maleficent because she was far more interesting than Aurora or Prince Phillip.

    I am soooo excited to see Maleficent!!!! waaaaaay too stoked. See i work across the hall from HotTopic so i see all their Maleficent stuff and I am teased every day so i am so ready to see it O.O

    I've never actually watched Sleeping Beauty (should I?), but I'm beyond excited for this movie. Everything about it looks great and interesting, so I'll probably drag a few friends along to see it when it comes out.

    Yes you should. Then you will see the original Maleficent in all her glory. The three Good Fairies are another reason to watch it.

    I haven't watched sleeping beauty, only ever heard about it. But after seeing the trailers for maleficent, I know I'm going to have to. It looks like it'll be a beautifully animated and entertaining film.
    Can't wait to watch it!
