I know it's obviously not a bad thing but I recently started watching more shows and movies which have strong lesbian themes, like But I'm A Cheerleader and The L Word. I do like girls but I'm still confused and super deep in the closet.
Do you think it'll make people more likely to think I'm a lesbian?

I don't think watching lesbian shows makes you a lesbian , Liking only women and not men is what makes you a lesbian . I'm lesbian I watch anime with straight couples , lesbian couples , read manga with that have straigth couples and lesbian ( lesbian manga is my favorite by far ) I also watch gay porn . If people tried to guess my sexuality they would label me a bisexual by what I watched .

I understand it obviously doesn't make me a lesbian. I suppose what I mean is, if i talk about the shows or something ,is it more likely to make people think I'm a lesbian? I'm definitely not ready for that conversation!

i actually wonder this too, i think if people expect us to be already then it might give them more of a reason to think there suspicions are correct, which is why i stick to being safe and not say about the lesbian themed shows i like  its probably just us being paranoid though.

I watch documentaries about Nazi Germany, will this make me a National Socialist?

I watch Shark Week (sometimes), will this make me a shark?

While it's possible what you watch can influence you, I've always heard, you can't influence what wasn't already there. For example, it'd be ridiculously difficult to influence me to, say, fuck a cow.

Watched heterosexual media all those years didn't turn me straight, yes? /joke

I understand where you coming. People might think it but you know what? Let them think whatever they want. If they are biased that is their own problem. More people should have open minds no matter what their sexual identity is. If you like shows and they are good then who cares?
