Do you watch this tv program? Do you think the stories are true or not? I think the stories are some true and some false. Nev and Max are so kind! :icon_bigg
I love Catfish...have to believe they're true stories otherwise my reason for getting out of bed has gone
I think its true I just don't understand how you fall in love with someone you never met, but I guess anything possible.
I read an article that said all of the stories are true, but the producers have, in advance, checked out everything and contacted all parties who have agreed to participate. However, the on-camera talent who are actually doing the research do not know the outcomes, or where to look... so when the cameras are following them, they may or may not be making the right choices. Now... we also know that virtually all "reality TV" has writers and is partially phony, so perhaps we should take the above statement with a grain of salt. I haven't watched the show. Maybe I should.
ehhh to a certain extent. the stories might be believable but i'd say otherwise. any reality tv show considered a reality tv show is absolutely fake. even survivors.
I think some of it is true but maybe not all of it but then again a lot of people get catfished and i once found someone on facebook using my name and picture saying I was straight . so guess it's not fake
I love this show. I think the stories are true. If you watched the movie then watched the show you could kinda get an idea of how the show came about and why it would be real.
I just started watching it today and  the stories seem true, but I have been known to be gullible...
I saw the documentary first and then a few stories from the MTV series, the stories seem true. P.S. Nev is very pretty. :icon_wink
I believe they're very possibly could have happened, though they are most likely exaggerated. I can't believe the amount of 'girls' I've met on other sites that are actually cisgender males.
I believe that the stories are true. However, it's possible that the producers can make stories seem more outlandish than they really are in order to gain a larger audience.
I believe people can fall in love with anyone if they spend enough time together, and if they enjoy talking online then it can work. I've had a couple of online "girlfriends" but I don't think that much of it. Some people must get attached.
