I've been a fan of horror stories for the longest, but recently I've ran out of ones to read. Any good stories out there to suggest?

I'm enjoying this YA book,White Space. It's around 5-600 pages, so it took me more than a day to finish
It will probably become a series, judging by the cliffhanger, so it'll provide further reading material as well.

Sounds interesting. 5-600 pages sounds a little short, but it'll have to do . I'll definitely check it out, especially since it may become a series.

A little short?! That's a brick! XD Much longer and it'll be as thick as it is tall.

The Amityville Horror is a good one. I'm sure you've heard of it, and although it's not nearly 600 pages long, it does a great job of taking the reader through the Lutz family's demonic ordeal.

And if you're in the mood for very short ones of creepypasta length, there's the reddit board called /r/nosleep.

Well, maybe it's not that short. I just read pretty fast, and prefer longer books.

I've seen the movie, but haven't read the book. Although it sounds right up my alley. I'll make sure to check out along with the reddit board . Thanks!

The longest horror book I can think of is The Stand by Stephen King. I saw the movie and it was pretty intense, so you might want to check out the original.

I actually have read it. But It was the longest book I've read, I think it's around 1,100 pages.

I know you'd like book suggestions, but if you're just looking for a scary story and don't mind how short they are, you can search on google for creepypastas. Just a suggestion, sorry I haven't been reading many books recently. The only horror themed books I've read were written by H.P. Lovecraft, The Shadow Over Innsmouth and The Call of Cthulhu. You can have a look at these two.

Thanks for the suggestion . I actually bought a book of H.P. Lovecraft's works a few days ago, and so far they're very interesting.

I actually wrote a poem with a ghostly theme last night, but then discovered that some of the imagery is a bit derivative. Still, it's not a long read, and you might like it anyway:
