The song as a whole isn't really that good IMO but the outro is sick.

I love the solo in "Rope" by Foo Fighters. Alice in Chains also has some great guitars and "Stone" is one of my favorites from them.

    Anything by Santana.

But overall, for songs that people know, Little Wing by Jimi Hendrix. Guitar solo starts at like 1:40. Guitar Solo's aren't about being nuts and all over the place, they're about sounding good, and this arguably is very catchy.

or Concrete Jungle by Bob Marley

Starts at 2:40 something, but at 3:10 is the most spine chilling Guitar riff I've ever heard. I literally was so in love with this song when I was younger because of this part, it's such an amazing sound. He wrote this song while dying of Cancer and you can hear the desperation in it.

As a kid, I always like the guitar solo from "Light my Fire" by the Doors. It just went on and on and on and on for 5 1/2 minutes or something.

Anything by Queen! Brian May is a freakin genius. And his guitar tone is unique. My favourite solo is actually not from a specific song, but during live shows he often used to play this solo which started out as the one from Brighton Rock and then he used delays to build up an entire three part harmony of guitars and it's just something else.
