This is one freeware game that really, really deserves to be played more. For anyone who's never heard of it, Knytt is a 2D, sprite-based platforming and exploration game. It's completely free to download {here}, and there's no real installation or setup. This has to be the most ambient game I've played in years, with an amazing combination of basic but beautiful scenery and relaxing music. I swear, it's a natural antidepressant. There is a basic plot and ending, but the fun comes from just wandering around and finding new secrets in the massive game world. Please, someone at least play it so I'll have something to talk about. Here are some screenshots, for anyone interested:
Ah, I've read a lot about this. Too bad I can't play it because I run on a Mac. D: Same with a number of other independent games. ;_;
