What's your thought on the wave at baseball games?

    I just noticed that we have this unfortunate smiley installed on EC:

    However, the Rangers scoreboard operator has a sense of humor (and the same disdain for the wave that most actual baseball fans do :grin:):

    I don't really see the problem with the wave, especially in baseball, where there is plenty of time in which to do it when the ball is not in play. In soccer or something where the ball is constantly in play I would hate it.

    If you overdo it though, all bets are off, and the person who started it could end up looking like that bobblehead.

    I'm not over forty, and still find the wave super-annoying. I don't go to a game to have responsibilities in between trying to watch.

    Cool to look at on the other side of the stadium though XD.
