    I don't know...

    The fact he still gets talked about, his albums sell, and he's asked to make appearances, he might just be working the system. Keep in mind, Kanye West admits to having an ego, and all egos like to be fed.

    I'd say, from a marketing and relevancy standpoint, he's pretty smart.

    That said, I still think this is silly.

    I was unaware of how tough life was for celebrities who make a fortune out of doing what they love. I must be really lucky, struggling to survive from week to week, to make ends meet. I pity him.
