    I used to really not care for this show and now I'm an official fan :grin:.

    Do you like this show? Who is your favorite character and why? Favorite song(s)?



    I personally like Candace and Dr. Doof equally, and my favorite song is the S.I.M.P (Squirrels in my Pants). It's just so random and funny as hell. How to get a white girl shaking her booty in a kids show? Let's just come up with this song :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

    Step right over and watch me put it down...Squirrels! Squirrels! :lol:


    Side note: I love how every single invention that they build just magically goes away or is hidden, making Candace look like an idiot in front of her mom. "but, but, but....it was right here a second ago!"

    I'm glad now since I see your age and I don't feel like "well, I'm too old to watch such things". But I think that it's one of the few shows like it that I can actually stomach and endure. My cousin, who is 11, told me that he liked it. So I watched it with him one day (a few years ago) and I was like "hey, this is no ordinary cartoon. The writing is funny, good dialogue, and very clever". Then again, Dan Povenmire (voice of Dr. Doof) worked on the Simpsons and Family Guy, so no surprises there...

    Yeah, there's so much stuff that doesn't even seem like younger kids would get it. Admittedly I didn't know about it until my son started watching, but now I'm the one saying "Hey, let's watch Phineas and Ferb!" Lots of culture references that kids that age don't get yet.

    I've been watching the show since 2007. My favorite song is Improbably Knot because of how strange it is (March my little off-the-shelf package 3D robots!).

    Vanessa is her name, and yes, she is one of my favorites.

    My favorite character, though, is Dr. Doofenshmirtz. I remember when the show was preparing to debut, they showed all these advertisements and promos. It didn't seem like anything out of the ordinary for Disney, so I missed the premiere. However, a few months after that, I was sick and flipping through the channels. It was the episode where Doofenshmirtz was going to get rid of all the world's lawn gnomes; and his back story, while disturbingly sad, was hilarious. Any show that can make me genuinely laugh or think, automatically gets a second viewing from me. So, while I don't watch the show religiously, I don't mind when it is on. It's one of the better animated shows, to come out in the past several years.

    My favorite song? Mm. I don't know if I can narrow it down to one, so I'll give you my Top 3:

    Dr. Doofenshmirtz - "Evil Love"

    Random Guy - "Come On, Kids!"

    Candance & Vanessa - "BUSTED!"

    Whoo! I finally found my thread! *sets up home here* I love Phineas and Ferb!

    I love Candace, she is practically me.
    "I don't know what you're doing, but I'm calling mom and you're gonna be soooo busted!"

    My favourite songs... Umm... S.I.M.P and Little Brothers (that episode made me cry like so much like what the hell and then the end with the zebra just :confused: I can definitely relate to that type of dream.)

    Busted is one of my favs. I found it really funny when they parodied themselves during the Wizard of Odd episode. During the end credits, Candace sings "Rusted". Corny, but funny :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:.

    OMG my daughter got me watching this. The inventions for the most part I can take or leave, most of the songs are amusing, but I absolutely love Doof! It's like he has a direct line to my funny bone. "Why do I keep putting self destruct buttons on all of my evil inventions?" "Then I can rule the entire tri-state area". I started watching it because of my daughter but I watch it every time I can catch it now.

    Yea, that's right, I'm in my 30s and love cartoons. You wanna make something of it? Lol
