I saw it, and I thought it was great! Very moving and showed lots of statistics about cancer.

Did anyone one else see it? If you did what'd you think about it?

    Darn, you stole my idea.

I was gonna write a hugeFUCK YOU CANCER
in great huge bright letters but I can't be bothered now.

I didn't see it, but I do know that the Macmillan Cancer charity are having a coffee morning Sept 26th. And our school hosts ours in our common room.

My friend recently battled lymphoma. (Currently 100% cancer-free - yay!) He made a T-shirt for himself with two dancing lemons, and the phrase

    WHEN LIFE GIVES YOU LYMPHOMA
    MAKE LYMPHOMADE!

I thought that kicked butt.

...that "Stand Up" song is kinda dull, though.

It was a great way to raise money for cancer research. I only watched the opening few minutes however. The kids with cancer always make me cry. It would be really tough to work in a place that treated kids.

I watched it and thought it was great to see all 3 major networks get together to fight this. My dad is in his last round of chemo and is doing great! My twin brother had his thyroid removed because of cancer. We never had a family history of cancer until about a year and a half ago. Also a buddy of mine growing up (who happens to be gay) mother just died of leukemia about a month ago.

That's great about your Dad! I hope he continues to get better. I had thyroid cancer when I was 23.

He is a lot better. The chemo was in small doses so he did not get sick. He has been working through out it.
