I always wanted to watch it but never got around:/ One day I will!!!! I really like the time when it takes place.
I started to watch it because of my mother, it is not my genre at all, I can't suffer young ladies that cry for love pains. Anyway I use to stay in the TV room using the computer because the wifi signal is stornger here, and so I watched the first episode "passively". But (surprise) I enjoied it, I liked the characters and the plot, and now I can't wait for the season 5. I watch it in English (with subtitles) because I can't wait the italian dubbing and the english accent create a complite different mood. My favorite character is Mr Carson, he's so funny, he's the incarnation of that time.
Started getting into it earlier this year and have loved it so far, but only up through S3. Was kind of pissed with the cliffhanger at the end of the last special I watched... :dry: Still, figure it's about time to move on and hoping to see S4 as soon as possible.
It certainly was unexpected but it makes Season 4 somewhat more interesting from the view point of story development. It certainly hasn't been predictable, which I like about the series. Saw the first three seasons and loved it so far. I love the characters and in particular Maggie Smith's character. Aiming to watch Season 4 soon as I have only started watching it recently.
I really want to start watching it too, but I have no idea where I should begin :/. I don't want to have to catch up on sooooooo much.

Basically 2 seasons from US standards. You'll like it! Awesome story and impeccable acing!
Am I the only one who thinks that Sybil is more cute than Mary? Why is everyone in love with Mary? Sybil is nice and amazing, Mary sometimes is intolerable "I don't want marry Mattew, no wait I want, but actually I'm not going to do it..." for almost 2 season, what the heck is wrong with her?
Don't mind Mary, but yeah, Sybil is my favorite too. ---------- Post added 12th Aug 2014 at 05:05 PM ---------- Certainly hope that it does and it's predictable in bringing up consistent tragedy, though. ;P The Dowager Countless is also one of my very favorite characters, almost seems like they give Smith most of the good lines (Haha.)
