    Yes, Ms. Spears just moments ago took home 3 VMA's including Video of the Year for Piece of Me, loving it xD xD People be as anti britney as you'd like, i love her and glad she is rising once more

    As much as I hate her, I'm glad she's only been in the news as of late for things relating to her career, and not her life.

    Bleh, I was never a huge Britney fan. I don't really care what her personal life is, or how jealous she is of her sister's daughters, or how crazy she's acted recently. That's not news. If she can manage to pull things together, great for her, but I won't be around to watch.

    If so, it speaks very poorly of Ms Spears, as there's almost no Britney there. It's a huge, busy processed mess with an occasional overly-processed voice on there that apparently was supplied by Britney.

    Seriously? That's the best video of the year? Either the moonman statue is now an AA chip ("Congrats on getting your life back together") or they were given as payment for her "performance" last year. Her "performance" last year may have been wretched (indeed it was), but it gave people a reason to watch the VMAs for the first time in eons. As an added bonus, it gave Britney a definite "down point" to bounce back from. To such a degree that just by showing up, looking good, and smiling, people thought she was incredible. Which perhaps she was.

    Well i mean piece of me was probably who best song on there, and that and the video is saying a big f(*&k you to the press who just hounded her to the point of literally driving her insane, so in a way it was like her strike back, which is why oddly i always liked that song lol

    But you've got to hand it to her... If Britney Spears can win an award after utterly screwing up her life, anyone can get back on track.

    I'm wondering if that's not WHY she got the award. It makes for great copy. It gets people talking. If, oh, Rihanna got the award, would people be discussing the VMAs as much?

    I wouldn't say thats why she got the award, but its DEFINITELY why people are talking. If Rihanna won the award, itd be great for her, cuz Rihanna is amazing. But its just got so much talk because its almost like a movie ending. Even at her highest Britney was nominated for the award, but she never won it. Now I'm not even really a fan of her music, ive just been rooting for her to get her life back in order cuz the media just kind of threw her into a well of insanity. So by her winning this, its just a symbol of how she's getting her life back in order. Now the reason i don't think conspiracy is because without Britney's drama, they wouldn't nearly have enough to report about, and since when has MTV ever cared about people's lives going up?
