I was wondering if there are any more progressive rock fans on here and if so, if they had any album/band recommendations for me.

I tend to listen to Magnum(Their prog rock status is of debate between me and my dad), Marillion and I just discovered Twelfth Night. I'd love it if anyone had any good suggestions for me.

Also, do you think Magnum is prog rock?

You can tell it was written by Bowie, has a very Bowie feel to it.

Well I'm not sure you could consider me a fan yet as I'm not that widely listened (...is that a thing? Like widely read but for listening anyway). So as yet I haven't come across a great number of albums. Some of my favourites so far would be King Crimson (ITCOTCK, Red), Anglagard (Viljans Oga... or Hybris) and Pink Floyd (Dark Side of the Moon). I've recently come across Pain of Salvation as well, not quite sure what I think about them yet but they seem interesting for concept albums and engaging lyrics. Also I'll throw in some jazz fusion: Return to Forever's "Romantic Warrior", Shakti and Mahavishnu Orchestra, as well as prog death metal in Opeth's Still Life (it's fookin' awesome )
