Oooh so difficult to pick a favourite so I'll reel off a few:

Only Shallow by My Bloody Valentine, Spanish Sahara by Foals, Scarlet Fields by The Horrors, Atmosphere by Joy Division, Solitude is Bliss by Tame Impala and Higher Than the Sun by Primal Scream.

 

So difficult for me too!!


I really like Turn to Stone by ELO, Twist and Shout by the Beatles, well...possibly anything by them :lol:.

 

Since the moment I heard Dark Tranquillity's Lethe I knew it was the best song I have ever heard and after many years it still remains the best for me by far, sadly non metal fans can't really appreciate it, or better said, don't even try to.

Intrigued to see Avenged Sevenfold listeners here. They were my favorite band as a teenager (kinda outgrown them since).

My favorite may change day to day, but if I had to pick a single greatest song ever, it would probably be this one. An almost unfathomable amount of life packed into a piece of music.
