Pretty simple what's your favourite album or CD and why?

    Mine are probably
Black parade and danger days because I love MCR and find the music on these two albums stellar

Fly yellow moon because fyfe dangerfield is a brilliant artist and about half of the songs on this disk made me cry

+ I don't listen to much pop but this is one of the best pop albums ever and always makes me feel better

One of my favorite albums I always come back to is

Painted Desert Serenade - Joshua Kadison
The whole album is so so heartfelt and makes me feel so serene and calm.

    Favorite song
Right here waiting - Richard Marx
Just the whole song, the lyrics, the way he sings, the piano, just so hauntingly beautiful and pulls at my heart strings.

Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band by the Beatles. It might not be a very original choice but I love every song and it has a lot of sentimental value for me. Lots of good memories of listening to it as a kid, plus fantastic music

"Loveless" by MBV. It is simply everything that is awesome about the sheer noise and guitar distortion of shoegaze.

Even the art work (See my avatar) is like the music as it takes an image, in this case of a guitar, and twists it and distorts it in layers of colour until it doesn't look like what it is and it's exactly like that with the music.

    Truly awesome.

All time favorites? I can't make a list like that. There are so many albums that I think are great in their own way and I have periods of time when I listen to an album all the time and then I get tired of it and move on to something else. I feel like my music taste is always shifting. Sometimes I start listening to an old album again and think how I still like that sound. For example, I was listening to "Futures" by Jimmy Eat World last night and I still love that album. Would I put it on a list of my all time favorites? I don't know. Maybe. But next week I'll probably be listening to something completely different and thinking how it's the best album ever.

    Not bad, not bad.
