Just like to say Andrew from Desperate Housewives and his bf are so hot. I suprised the makers weren't lynched by the less evolved americans for the gay storyline. Made my enjoyment of the show go up tenfold.

True, but I still love it. It's not supposed to represent all gay people.

I love Queer As Folk. And I don't think it's all that defaming because it adds a human aspect to the gay community. I guess we just have to hope people don't think that Brian=all gay men.

I watch all those shows...including QAF( I find the later seasons to be much better..it was more about the characters than the sex). Right now I'm liking Noah's Arc, I just bought the first season. Even though Will and Grace is gone off its still one of my favorite shows.

hollyoaks in the city is pretty gay...i just finished watching all the episodes on youtube they are lots of fun. Philip olivier plays a closeted gay teacher who struggles with his sexuality and....well....... i wont spoil anything its worth watching if you have time

edit: they also have really hot english accents too

The only gay show I really watch is Will and Grace, I got tired of Desperate Housewives after the first series - I'm just terrible at keeping track of TV series haha.. I watch Hollyoaks (the real one not "in the city"), which is pretty gay I suppose. Queer as Folk looks good, I want to watch that

I have edited the poll and added Queer as Folk for you. Those who have already voted won't be able to vote again and choose it though.

yes, heroes is amazing, but I really didn't consider it a gay show, basically my criteria was wether the show had a gay character or not. I though about adding Heroes because its so damn dood, but decided not to. So, anyone watch Lost? we need to start threads for each of these shows and discuss them b/c not all my friends watch theese

Dunno who is from the UK here but i've just finished watching a program called skins.
I is amazing the boys are all really hot and there is generally some mild frequent nudity every episode.

However it has a really good gay storyline about a friendship between a muslim and his gay friend maxxi. The muslim needs to battle between his religion and his friend - to ruin the story the gay guy is accepted by even the hardcore muslim dad.

The story give a totally over dramatised view of British teens, but i thought it amazing how well acted it was. The gay storyline was really good in the way he was accpeted and he wasn't made a big deal of.

(you can watch it on some of the link sites out there)

    Skins is great!

*spoiler warning* - This song is at the end of the last episode so probably not wise to watch if you plan on watching it later on because obviously gives away most of the endings of the storyline!*

    Love it

emm tv-links.co.uk will get you it - this is an amazing site and not just for skins but for wasting days of your life. The song at the end is a cover of cat stevens.

The gay storyline is almost nonexistent in DHW because they were thwarted by the Neanderthals of America.
